Program Details

Our program is very simple. It is designed to accommodate the expert and the novice Internet user. Log on to our web site (www.DelawareDriver.com), click on "Register Here" and enroll on-line. Or, you may call us at 877-972-4665 and register in just minutes on the telephone and begin immediately !

The Department of Insurance will consider the satisfactory completion of a Delaware Online Defensive Driving course (approved by the Delaware Department of Insurance) as a three (3) point credit when determining driver penalties. This credit is at the discretion of the Division and may vary from case to case.

For insurance reduction, drivers receive 10% off their liability and personal injury insurance the first time they take the program (a six hour course). You may take a "refresher course" (a three hour course) to increase insurance discount to 15%. This course will not only help make you a safer driver, but will help your driving record and your wallet too!!

When you register, you choose your own password and username to gain access to the program immediately.

The course is divided into numerous sections. Once you have completed the at-home portion of the program, you will be required to visit a local testing center so we can verify your identity. You will need to bring your picture identification with you and will also need to take a short exam while you are there. The available test sites are available here.

Please Note: You may attend a test site in any city listed. Please call the test center for an appointment.

You will have mutliple times to pass the final exam, if needed. The tuition includes the entire program and the completion certificate. If you do not pass, you will be able to retake our program immediately at no additional charge.

We created our program to be as convenient as possible for the student. It is designed as an alternative to a classroom program, work at your own pace. You may participate in the program in one sitting or use your access code many times and complete the reading in increments of time, according to your own schedule. You may even print out the quiz questions first and answer them in writing as you read through the curriculum. The goal is for you to comprehend and absorb the materials.

Please ensure to submit your answers within three to four (3-4) days before your completion due date so we can deliver the certificate to you on time. If the certificate must be rushed, we can complete your certificate within a couple hours notice, if necessary!
